From its vantage point on the knoll overlooking the town cemetery and Cape Cod’s historic King’s Highway, the meeting house has welcomed worshippers and the community since 1834.

Time and weather have taken their toll on the building’s framing members and envelope. In 2010 the stewards of the meeting house engaged our firm to implement immediate repairs and direct ongoing restoration activities, design an accessible, historically sensitive entrance, and supply materials to assist with fund raising for the project. All work performed at the church is subject to review and approval by the Old Kings Highway Regional Historic District Commission.

In addition to restoring the building’s physical integrity, the church plans system improvements that will increase the comfort of visitors, improve life safety, and enhance the sanctuary as a venue for musical performances.
